Hip Hooray Co. uses the highest quality, professional-grade balloons and materials. We have tried and tested hundreds of professional-grade balloons to find the best of the best in performance and color selection.
We use natural 100% biodegradable latex balloons. It is a common misconception that latex balloons are a plastic product, but latex actually comes from a renewable resource. Harvested from rubber trees, latex balloons are a plant-based product.
Mylar balloons are not biodegradable. However, they can be reused or brought back to our store to recycle in our Zero-Waste bin.
Balloons begin to oxidize in the sun, giving them a matte-like or faded appearance. We recommend keeping your balloons inside or in shaded areas. Exposure to extreme heat and sunlight may cause them to pop.
Balloons do not like:
Direct sunlight and heat
Wind and extreme weather
Roughhousing by pets, children, or adults (we’re all kids at heart).
Our air-filled balloons, such as indoor balloon garlands, can last for several days if kept away from direct sunlight and heat. So be prepared to have them on your hands for a while! Outdoor balloon garlands do best in shaded areas and mild temperatures.
Helium-filled balloon float times may vary depending on the size and style. Our standard latex balloons can last anywhere from 1-2 days. Larger sized latex balloons and jumbo latex balloons have a longer float-time before they start to sag. Mylar balloons may last past your event date.
We treat all of our helium-filled latex balloons with hi-float for extended float time.
Some balloons can deflate sooner than expected, and can be adversely affected by wind, rain, sunlight, and mishandling. Once balloons leave our store, or we finish your installation, we are no longer responsible for their longevity. Balloon sales are final sales.
Custom Color balloons are double-stuffed balloons. Our team carefully inserts 1 balloon into another balloon before inflation. The result is a completely custom color! We use this technique to create a luxe/matte appearance, to achieve a perfect color-match, and to create new balloon colors and finishes that are not currently available.
Currently, Custom Colors are only available with installation orders.
We do not support balloon releases (or any forms of littering, tbh).
We advocate safe balloon practices:
Keep balloons secure and weighted
Do not release balloons into the air
Properly dispose of balloons
Adult supervision of children around balloons
When you’re ready to say goodbye, cut down your balloons, pop them, and dispose in your household waste. Latex balloons will completely decompose over time. Mylar balloons can be reused. We are fans of Terracycle’s Zero-Waste party bins to recycle most of your party goods.
Grab & Go Garlands are smaller, budget-friendly versions of our installations that still pack a POP! Each Grab & Go is thoughtfully designed by the Hip Hooray team, then picked up and styled by you. Our garlands are completely finished and ready for you to hang.

Yes, we offer weekday drop-off delivery services. Delivery fees and order minimums vary based on mileage from our location.
10 mile radius: $100 minimum, $20 delivery fee.
15 mile radius: $150 minimum, $35 delivery fee.
20 mile radius: $200 minimum, $50 delivery fee.
Hip Hooray Co. proudly serves Sacramento and surrounding areas, including West Sacramento, Davis, Carmichael, Rancho Cordova, Fair Oaks, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, Granite Bay, El Dorado Hills, Loomis, and Auburn.
We are always up to travel, but we do have order minimums based on distance.
For Custom Installation Orders:
If you need to cancel your installation order, you must do so at least 14 days prior to your event for a full refund of the amount paid, less 10% of total paid for costs incurred. Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to your event will receive a “raincheck” for the event and your payment will be applied to a future event. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the event are no longer eligible to be rescheduled.
For Grab & Go Orders:
If you need to reschedule your Grab & Go order, you must do so at least 7 days prior to your scheduled pick up date. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the scheduled pick up date will not be refunded.
